# Airdrop

To bootstrap the initial TVL, a TPS airdrop event starts on 04/03/2023. 2% of the total supply of TPS will be shared with our early users and supporters! To participate, users only need to hold wTBT or TBT! No locking/staking is needed.

The airdrop consists of 6 epochs which have different amounts of tokens to be distributed and different unlocking criteria. The rewards will be released to the users after the entire airdrop event is finished. Participating in the earlier epoch will take advantage of the higher reward ratio.

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="97"></th><th width="131"></th><th width="245"></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Epoch</td><td>Reward Size</td><td>Unlocking Criteria</td><td>Duration</td></tr><tr><td>1</td><td>0.23%</td><td>Weighted Avg TVL > $3M</td><td>14 days</td></tr><tr><td>2</td><td>0.32%</td><td>Weighted Avg TVL > $6M</td><td>14 days</td></tr><tr><td>3</td><td>0.41%</td><td>Weighted Avg TVL > $12M</td><td>14 days</td></tr><tr><td>4</td><td>TBD</td><td>TBD</td><td>TBD</td></tr><tr><td>5</td><td>TBD</td><td>TBD</td><td>TBD</td></tr><tr><td>6</td><td>TBD</td><td>TBD</td><td>TBD</td></tr></tbody></table>

Within each epoch, users will share the total rewards proportionally to their reward score. Snapshots will be taken every day randomly to calculate users’ reward score. No explicit formula will be shared but the general idea is that: the more TBT/wTBT you have and the longer you hold, the higher reward you will receive.

Each epoch has a fixed unlocking criterion. If the criterion for the one epoch is not met, then the entire reward of this epoch will be rolled over to the next epoch. For instance, if the unlocking criterion of the first epoch is not met, 0.23% of TPS will be rolled over to the second epoch. So the second epoch will have a total reward of 0.55% and the unlocking threshold and duration remain the same.
